Bitcoin Update
This is more or less the same update as last week where Bitcoin looks like it will range here for a bit or push higher to $140-$150k. There will be more liquidity flowing into altcoins which we have seen so far.
Global M2 suggests more of a pullback in September so if this model stays intact then we still have at least a month and half of upside until the next decent pullback.
Altcoin Small Cap Dominance Z-Scores
It’s been a while since we looked at this because there hasn’t been much to update. When this goes up, altcoins outside of the top 10 market cap start to outperform. We are seeing some signs of a potential reversal now with this cross above the green zone. We want to see a sustainable uptrend for the next month or so for there to be that major shift into smaller altcoins, the elusive Altcoin Season that many refer to.
Solana vs. Ethereum Update
It’s been some time since we looked at this comparison of Solana against Ethereum. Similar to the previous chart, there’s been very little updates because it’s been sideways until recently. Solana has been the clear outperformer this cycle so far but is Ethereum is able to take the lead from here? It did lose MA200 support so it’s been short term bearish so far.
But is this a long term bearish trend forming? Over the past couple weeks, I’ve been working on my more detailed Altcoin Screener thesis that I’m hoping to share in the coming weeks. It’s a culmination of all my learnings in crypto from the past few years. I’ve been building it out in ChatGPT producing my own model of sorts (still in progress so don’t take this as the final product). I ran this question through of Solana vs. Ethereum against my framework and here’s the results:
As you can see, Solana beats Ethereum in most categories so my bet is still on Solana:
Solana Update
Solana flipped MA200 as anticipated and next stop looks like $200. Much higher from here.
Solana vs. Bitcoin still forming a potential double bottom and going higher.
Dogecoin Update
Dogecoin has really been picking up speed lately and the weekly close crossed above 0.25. We might have a little pullback to 0.25 to retest the breakout and then it’s pretty much up only from here.
Sui Update
Sui already made it above the 3.95 area and is holding it for now. I also was looking to see where Sui could go from here in terms of the cycle top and $25 seems reasonable to me by Q1 2026.
Large Caps
For large caps, here’s the ones that stand out on a long term timeframe:
- XRP
- Sui
- Stellar
Pepe also broke above its bull flag and look like it’s going to test the 0.000016 level next.
