Large Caps
On a long term timeframe, Solana is the top performing large cap and is outperforming Bitcoin in the last 365 days by 141%.
For large caps, here’s the ones that stand out on a long term timeframe:
- Shiba Inu
- Avalanche
Shiba Inu is outperforming BTC in the last 365 days by 17% and is down 48% from its high. Its Sharpe Ratio is 0.94 which means it has fairly decent risk-adjusted returns. Avalanche is down 53% from its high and is outperforming BTC in the last 365 days by 23%. Its Sharpe Ratio is 1.09 which means it has excellent risk-adjusted returns.
Here’s the ones that stand out on a short term timeframe:
- Shiba Inu
- Dogecoin
Both are outperforming Bitcoin and Solana in the last 30 days and in the last 90 days by 20-30%.
Model Portfolio Update
As Bitcoin approaches a potential breakout of the top of its 70k range, we have to evaluate how coins have performed these past few weeks in the portfolio. Sometimes not every choice performs well and it’s best to cut the losers fast instead of holding onto them longer than we need to. We are going to sell the following positions as they haven’t been performing as well as anticipated:
- Cardano
- Avalanche
- Toncoin
We are going to roll the proceeds from Cardano, Avalanche and Toncoin into Solana. We can’t underestimate Solana as it’s been the best performing Large Cap in the past year. It is starting to show momentum again and will most likely outpace these other coins we are selling. Here’s the latest portfolio with the changes:
